Fire Protection Project Manager Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Protection Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of experience in contract or project management, looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and growing industry.

The successful candidate will assist in managing fire protection projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, schedules, budgets, and safety standards. They will liaise closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing firestopping and compartmentation projects across multiple sites
  • Liaise with site managers, installers, and compliance officers to ensure smooth operations
  • Coordinate with suppliers, track deliveries, and manage installation schedules
  • Carry out inspections, prepare reports, and ensure full documentation of installed systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and fire strategy plans
  • Monitor quality, health & safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to project handovers, snagging lists, and client communications

Qualifications and Experience:

We require a Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection (ASFP/IFE), or fire-related degree with IFE accreditation or membership (TIFireE or GIFireE preferred). A minimum of 1–3 years experience in the construction or fire protection industry is also required. Familiarity with passive fire protection systems and materials, as well as strong communication and coordination skills, is essential.
