Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of dairy products.

  • Conduct internal quality system audits and support audit readiness.
  • Participate in internal and external inspections and manage the resolution and close out of issues identified during audits.
  • Adhere to testing schedules by sending samples for analysis and trending results.
  • Prepare daily product quality panels and enter results into systems. Report on any deviations from standard.
  • Attend daily kaizen meetings and input quality metrics prior to meetings.
  • Complete glass/plastic checks and update documentation as needed.
  • Compile and complete monthly KPI metrics and manage action plans based on CAPA.
  • Participate in site NCR investigations and review and update finished product specifications.
Requirements:
  • Primary Degree in Science (Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within a similar role within food manufacturing.
  • Excellent technical, organizational, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Dynamic, self-driven and capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a cross functional team.
  • Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP principals.
  • Competencies in IT based applications such as SAP etc.
