We are currently hiring a highly skilled laboratory professional to join our team in Listowel, Co. Kerry.

This is a full-time, seasonal role with hours of work from 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with one weekend on and one off. Occasional night shifts may be required by prior arrangement.

As Laboratory Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards of our products by testing and analyzing their various aspects, such as physical, chemical, microbiological, functional, and sensory properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing raw materials, in process, and finished product samples.
  • Testing products for physical, chemical, microbiological, functional, and sensory properties.
  • Conducting proficiency testing within the scope of lab accreditations.
  • Recording data generated in SAP and other systems.
  • FOLLOWING OUR SAFETY AND QUALITY POLICIES AT ALL TIMES.
Requirements:
  • Prior food/dairy laboratory experience.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product specifications, plant processes, and products.
  • Excellent understanding of Good Laboratory Practice.
  • Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A third-level qualification in a science-related discipline or lab experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, preferably with experience in LIMS and SAP systems.
  • Organized and systematic approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
