Job Role: Equipment Maintenance Specialist
About the Position:We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to carry out planned, preventative and corrective maintenance on plant, machinery and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose faults, identify issues, and undertake general mechanical repairs, completing relevant risk assessments and method statements.
- Maintain and update the maintenance management system, including recording all work carried out, equipment updates and generating performance reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to complete maintenance tasks efficiently, providing technical support where required.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist with projects to enhance plant operations and maintenance processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Mechanical Automation and Maintenance qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a mechanical maintenance fitter, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to repair and optimise equipment performance.
- Knowledge of lean tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a hands-on approach and ability to multitask, adapt and focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
