Site Maintenance Lead Position

This role entails strategic oversight of maintenance operations across the site, ensuring equipment and tooling align with production demands. Key responsibilities include prioritizing maintenance and repairs, managing spare parts inventory, coordinating sub-contractors, and verifying work completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize maintenance and repairs to align with production requirements
  • Manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment
  • Coordinate sub-contractors for maintenance work
  • Verify completion of sub-contractor work
  • Supervise employees within the department, monitoring performance and quality of workmanship
  • Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and lead the team to deliver effectively
  • Optimize equipment according to standard procedure to enhance performance and product quality
  • Stay current on changes affecting supply and demand of products and materials needed
  • Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines
