Job Opportunity: Patroller

The primary objective of a patroller involves inspecting and surveying overhead lines, mapping out information, and conducting visual assessments of associated equipment. This role requires the individual to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while ensuring that planned targets for overhead line surveys are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular inspections of overhead line equipment, documenting any defects or issues encountered.
  • Conduct thorough patrols and inspections in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Record and report all data collected during these activities, including completion of required documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Effective communication skills to ensure seamless interaction with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently, even in challenging outdoor conditions.
  • Proficiency in map reading and risk assessment within the context of health and safety protocols.
  • Able to adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Possession of a current full and valid driving licence.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and company software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and effective reporting.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, taking direction from supervisors, adhering to work schedules, focusing on details, and following established work procedures.
