Overhead Lines Project Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Overhead Lines Project Manager to lead the delivery of medium-large scale projects throughout their full lifecycle.

  • Develop OHL project plans, define scope, set objectives and manage timelines effectively
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, manage changes to the project scope and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Monitor and control all OHL project costs, ensuring financial compliance and managing cash flow efficiently
  • Lead and motivate project teams, assign tasks and ensure effective communication among stakeholders
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders and other relevant parties to ensure project alignment and satisfaction
  • Ensure all OHL projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards, implementing safety protocols as necessary
  • Regularly monitor project progress, identify potential delays and report on project status to stakeholders
  • Ensure all OHL project documentation is complete, close out project accounts and conduct post-project evaluations
Requirements:
  • Experience managing and delivering medium-large scale OHL projects (LV/10/20kV up to and including 400kV) throughout the full project lifecycle from initiation, specification and design, tendering, construction, energisation through to project closure
  • A good understanding of electrical distribution plant items such as Switchgear, Protection, Power Transformers and Underground power cables
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety Regulations
  • Experience of development and delivery of varied projects to deliver safely, on-time and within budget
