Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Construction Inspector to spearhead our construction management efforts in Dublin, IE.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to utilize their expertise in monitoring contractor work, reporting on progress and adherence to plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough field inspections to monitor contractor performance and report on project progress and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate daily inspection reports and photo documentation to support project quality control efforts.
  • Verify construction adherence to applicable codes, standards, and contract documents to ensure a high level of quality.
  • Analyze and resolve construction issues as needed and escalate them to senior management when required.
  • Participate actively in project progress meetings and contribute significantly to quality control efforts by identifying potential areas of improvement.
  • Manage documentation processes related to safety permits, lockout/tag-out procedures, and plant outage coordination.
  • Ensure site safety requirements are met and provide support for the creation and maintenance of safety documentation.
  • Oversee closeout procedures and support payment verification to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Provide guidance and technical review to junior inspectors to help them develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection with a strong emphasis on industrial environments and process piping.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or 5–7 years of relevant experience is also acceptable.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with project teams, contractors, and clients to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn continuously and adapt to new challenges within the construction management field.
