Job Description:

The Conference & Banqueting Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximizing departmental profits.

Responsibilities include assisting the Conference & Banqueting Manager in supervising department employees, facilities, sales, and costs to achieve maximum profits.

The supervisor will also assist in preparing, presenting, and serving banquet food and beverage products to ensure highest quality at all times.

Additionally, the Conference & Banqueting Supervisor will inspect equipment, technical equipment, linen, silver, China, and other items to maintain high standards.

This involves knowing how to operate all departmental equipment, including technical equipment such as copying machines, faxes, projectors, videos, TVs, etc.

The supervisor will work closely with the Conference & Banqueting Manager to develop formal training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions for department employees.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Ability to work as part of a team is crucial, as is strong ability to work efficiently and deal with busy periods competently.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and guests.

Self-motivation and enthusiasm are also key qualities for this position.
