About the Role

Attracting cutting-edge global investment is a key driver of Ireland's economic growth. This high-impact role focuses on securing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from leading corporations in key sectors like technology, biotechnology, financial services, and advanced engineering.

Based in Seoul, you'll report to the Director for Japan & Korea and collaborate with a global team to position Ireland as the premier destination for high-value investment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and Engage: Target high-potential companies and build a robust pipeline of FDI opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
  2. Build Influence: Cultivate strong relationships with senior executives, delivering persuasive pitches on Ireland's competitive advantages.
  3. Drive Commitments: Secure company visits to Ireland and guide prospects through site evaluations and post-approval implementation.
  4. Market Intelligence: Leverage deep sector expertise to tailor Ireland's value proposition for the target market.
  5. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with global teams to design impactful marketing initiatives and support high-level delegations.
About You
  • A Proven Deal-Maker: 7+ years in B2B enterprise sales, business development, or FDI with a track record of closing high-stakes deals.
  • Bilingual and Culturally Savvy: Fluent in Korean and English, with the ability to navigate complex negotiations and bridge business cultures.
  • A Master Networker: Skilled at engaging C-level decision-makers and building long-term strategic partnerships.
  • A Dynamic Communicator: Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to articulate compelling business cases.
