Seeking Support Workers for Residential Care

We are looking for motivated and empathetic individuals to provide care to adults with intellectual disabilities in a supportive environment.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of service users, promoting their dignity and respect at all times.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To support service users in achieving their personal goals and developing their Person Centred Plan.
  2. To assist service users with daily living activities and promote their independence.
  3. To develop strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
  4. To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring seamless communication across teams.

Requirements

  • QQI Level 5 Qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • 6 months experience in a similar role working with adults with an intellectual disability.
  • A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence.
