Job Title: Payroll Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Expert to join our team in West Cork. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, technical skills, and a desire to advance their payroll career within a professional services environment.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of clients, processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and collaboration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee data, tax information, and documentation, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for various clients, ensuring accuracy and collaboration.
  • Data Management: Manage employee data, tax information, and documentation, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Employee Benefits: Oversee employee benefits such as pensions, health insurance, and deductions.
  • Clients Inquiries: Address and resolve client inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits with excellent service.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay updated on payroll laws, tax legislation, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Fully qualified AAT or equivalent experience.
  • Payroll/Accounts Technician: Payroll/Accounts technician qualification is a plus but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Payroll Software: Working knowledge of payroll software, with familiarity in BrightPay being advantageous.
  • Revenue Legislation: Understanding of Revenue legislation.
