Lead Dental Care Specialist

This is an exciting chance for a skilled Dental Hygienist to work in a modern and well-established dental practice.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality dental hygiene care, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
- Take and process dental radiographs as prescribed by a dentist (following a course in dental radiography approved by the Dental Council).
- Evaluate patients' oral health and offer personalized treatment recommendations.
- Offer guidance on oral health, including planning and implementing oral health promotion programs, smoking cessation, and diet analysis to prevent dental caries and plaque control.
- Keep accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Verify medical and dental histories.
- Record hard and soft tissue and periodontal status.
- Provide supra and subgingival scaling, root surface debridement, and apply medicaments when necessary.
- Apply prophylactic materials to teeth and gums as required.
- Re-fit crowns with temporary cement and place temporary dressings when crowns or fillings become dislodged during treatment.
- Administer local anesthesia to patients as prescribed by a dentist.
