Dental Care Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced dental care professional to join our team in a modern well-established dental practice located in South Dublin.

This is a full-time position of 38-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will hold a suitable dental qualification and have previous experience working as a dental care professional.

The role involves:

  • Providing chairside assistance during various treatment procedures, anticipating patient needs, and providing support.
  • Recording accurate and detailed dental charting and treatment notes.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized dental surgery, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Decontaminating and sterilizing dental instruments, equipment, and materials for treatment.
  • Ensuring all health safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Managing and maintaining dental supplies and inventory, restocking as necessary.
  • Collaborating with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
  • Assisting with reception duties where required.
  • Assisting with dental laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary restorations.

  • A good attitude and team player mentality.
  • A strong command of the English language (both written and oral).
  • The ability to exhibit a positive attitude, take initiative, and always put patients first.
  • Previous experience preferred (experience working as a dental care professional in a clinic environment is an advantage).
  • A proven ability to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
