Commercial Project Manager - Road Maintenance Specialist

This is a key opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Project Manager who wants to take ownership of commercial and contractual aspects of road maintenance projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop accurate tenders, cost estimates, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Manage procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively to optimize project outcomes
  • Monitor costs, profitability, and project risks to minimize losses and maximize gains
  • Ensure full compliance with Environmental Health Safety Quality (EHSQ) and framework requirements
  • Support invoicing with accurate data and reporting to facilitate timely payments
  • Identify tender opportunities and contribute to business growth through strategic partnerships

We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in commercial management, estimating, or quantity surveying within civil engineering or maintenance
  • Knowledge of bituminous/tar surfacing works including asphalt and concrete applications
  • Strong understanding of EHSQ compliance and public sector frameworks to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Commercially astute with excellent analytical skills to make informed decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software to streamline processes
  • Strong communicator with the ability to manage key stakeholders and build effective relationships
