The role of Senior Regulation Analyst involves managing the forward-looking energy regulatory environment. It requires expert interpretation of market and policy regulations, assessing impacts and opportunities created.
Key Responsibilities- Review regulatory consultations to assess their impact on the business.
- Coordinate the development of energy policy positions, liaising with key teams.
- Develop policy and response papers.
- Support the implementation of regulatory rules through strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate and share knowledge across teams in relation to regulation and policy positions.
- Represent the company at Industry Fora and discuss changes that meet the needs of the business and stakeholders.
- A third level qualification or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum 7 years' experience in the energy or wider utilities industry, ideally with previous experience interacting with Regulatory Authorities.
- An understanding of the regulatory environment and markets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting of response documents.
- Excellent analytical capability, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to form relationships at all levels and have strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
