Senior Project Lead

Lead a high-performing team in the development and execution of multiple projects within facilities management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing project charters and management plans.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Creating and managing project Gantt charts, analyzing critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.
  • Defining project budgets and monitoring costs.
  • Partnering with the project team to create Quality Plans using various quality planning tools and techniques.
  • Developing risk management plans to identify, analyze, and understand project risks; developing and monitoring a risk response plan.
  • Establishing Procurement Management Plans and collaborating on procurement partner selection.
  • Estimating, acquiring, and assigning cross-functional project resources.
  • Developing deployment plans to minimize production disruption.
  • Executing communications management plans for the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Building relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments.
  • High emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and ability to drive results under pressure.
  • Adept at team management: selecting the right people for tasks while maintaining team morale and recognizing contributions.
  • Influencing without direct authority to build high-performing teams.
  • Communicating changes, updates, and decisions to key stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing tasks based on organizational goals.
  • Keeping customers at the heart of operations.
  • Exercising good judgment and weighing benefits and risks to make solid decisions.
  • Growth mindset: learning quickly and adapting to changing environments.

Requirements & Skills

  • Degree in a relevant field (Level 8 NFQ) and 6+ years of experience.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills in managing budgets.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO 41001 standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with various stakeholders.
  • Experience working in direct and cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
