Lead Electrical Estimator – High Voltage Role

About the Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of electrical estimating projects across Ireland and mainland Europe. The successful candidate will become the main central support in providing expertise in initial project estimation for various energy-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the electrical estimating team.
  • Produce risk assessments, including environmental impact.
  • Responsible for estimating and costings of works required.
  • Manage and develop a team of quantity surveyors.
  • Report to senior directors on project plans and developments.
  • Manage materials and procurement for programs.
  • Manage legal aspects of contracts.
  • Manage external and internal stakeholders, asset management, and local authorities.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of experience in estimating.
  • Experience with software systems.
  • Experience in engineering and construction.
  • Experience in large-scale construction programs.
  • Contractor experience ideally.
  • Exposure to international projects.
