Electrical Site Engineer - Civil Engineering Role Overview

The Electrical Site Engineer is a pivotal role in our Civil Engineering team, responsible for overseeing the integration and installation of electrical systems within construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, combined with effective project management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with civil engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall construction frameworks.
  • Oversee the identification, diversion, installation, and integration of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Supervise electrical contractors, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce ROI safety regulations related to electrical work on site.
  • Address and resolve electrical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Conduct compliance inspections and documentation checks to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including engineers, clients, utility operators, and project managers, to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, systems, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve electrical and technical issues on site.
