We are seeking a compassionate and patient Social Care Assistant to fill the role of daily living supporter. In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact in the lives of our clients.

About the Role

You will be working with individuals who require assistance with everyday tasks such as personal care, light household duties, and meal preparation. You will also provide companionship and support with social activities, promoting the health and well-being of our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support clients with daily tasks including personal care and light housekeeping.
  • Provide companionship and support with social engagements.
  • Promote the health and wellbeing of clients through supportive interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Social Care or Healthcare is required.
  • A minimum of two professional references are necessary for consideration.
  • Understanding of HIQA standards and regulations is essential.
  • CPR and Patient Moving and Handling Certificates must be obtained prior to commencement.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite.
