Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of large- and small-scale renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for infrastructure and site layout design, including Civil3D cut/fill analysis, access track design for floating and excavated roads, and transport route assessments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing infrastructure and site layouts using Civil3D
  • Creating access tracks for floating and excavated roads
  • Conducting transport route assessments and swept path analysis
  • Coordinating crane hardstanding layouts and management of geotechnical site investigations
  • Designing surface water SuDS drainage planning and reporting, as well as traditional foul and surface water drainage
  • Preparing construction and environmental management plans (CEMP)
  • Developing traffic management plans and coordinating traffic studies

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of engineering principles and project lifecycle experience, with high proficiency in AutoCAD and design software. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and design software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
