Financial Management Specialist

Key Accountant Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial functions, working closely with the management team to aid with strategic planning and decision making.
Core Responsibilities:- Maintain and reconcile purchase and sales ledgers accurately and efficiently
- Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and credit control processes effectively
- Process payments to suppliers within agreed payment terms
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner
- Complete Intrastat submissions as required
- Co-ordinate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
- Present financial data at regular board meetings
- Liaise with accountants for year-end accounts preparation
- Assist with other office tasks and administrative duties as necessary
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer and supplier queries
- Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting role
- Accounting technician qualification desirable
- Proficiency in IT skills including Sage Line 50, Sage payroll, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounts, banking, and finance principles
