Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical negligence claims and be able to advise and defend clients effectively.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Advising and Defending on Medical Negligence Claims

    The solicitor will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on potential claims.

  • Maintaining and Developing Close Relations with Clients

    The solicitor will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the process.

  • Promoting the Firm through Business Development and Networking

    The solicitor will play a key role in promoting the firm's services and building relationships with other professionals in the industry.

  • Assisting Associates and Partners with the Daily Running of the Office

    The solicitor will assist in the day-to-day running of the office, including administrative tasks and supporting colleagues.

  • Overseeing Administrative Tasks

    The solicitor will be responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks, including managing files and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years PQE

    A minimum of 3-5 years' post-qualification experience is required for this role.

  • Medical Negligence Experience

    Proven experience in medical negligence claims is essential for this position.

  • Dispute Resolution Skills

    The solicitor should have experience in different forms of dispute resolution, including negotiation and litigation.

  • Organisational Skills

    A strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.

  • Teamwork and Communication Skills

    The solicitor should be a good team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
