Senior Network Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, QoS and MPLS-related technologies like RSVP-TE, LDP, etc. They will also be familiar with data center network architecture, such as Fat Tree architecture, CLOS, BGP-TE, and peering for edge.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with major network devices like Mellanox, Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and other mainstream vendors. They will also be familiar with technologies like RDMA, Infiniband, and RoCE.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The role will involve collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure the network meets the needs of the business. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing vendor relationships.

A key aspect of the role will be staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and providing training and mentorship to team members to support their professional development.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of related experience operating at scale in a production environment, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. They must also be able to pass a background check and embody the company values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the network meets the needs of the business.

Qualifications:
