Job Title: Social Worker Team Leader
This is a challenging and rewarding role as a Social Worker Team Leader, working with adults at risk of abuse.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Adult Safeguarding and Protection. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to colleagues, assessing risk, making effective safeguarding plans, and managing complex cases in a person-centered and outcome-focused service.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with older persons, adults with disabilities, and/or in adult mental health, and possess a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to Professionally Qualified Social Workers.
- Assess risk and make effective safeguarding plans.
- Manage complex cases in a person-centered and outcome-focused service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience of working with older persons, adults with disabilities, and/or in adult mental health.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
