Adult Support Worker

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a support worker. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of adults with autism and intellectual disabilities.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
- Implement daily routines tailored to meet the unique requirements of each service user.
- Support service users in achieving their goals and aspirations, fostering independence and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and share knowledge and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent 1:1 support to service users, adhering to agreed-upon daily routines.
- Engage service users in meaningful activities and exercises that promote social skills and emotional intelligence.
- Maintain accurate records of service user interactions and progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related field and CORU registration started.
- Minimum 1 year's experience working with adults with autism and intellectual disabilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team, adapting to changing circumstances.
