The role of a residential social care professional is to provide day-to-day personal support and care for adults with intellectual disabilities. This involves creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment that fosters the individual's autonomy, dignity, and well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that each individual's life reflects the core values of their residence and promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and empowerment.
