Electrical Tender Specialist

Suitable candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial role and at least 10 years' experience in a senior position within a Medium Voltage (MV) or High Voltage (HV) organisation. This experience must be gained in the Irish or UK market.
Job Responsibilities:Tenders should be compiled in a precise and well-organised manner to meet deadlines. Aspects such as Technical, Financial, and Contractual are critical components that need thorough attention. Regular follow-ups on tenders and documents are essential for ensuring timely submissions and recording any feedback received.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors
- Oversee maintenance of cost database
- Maintain relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.)
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and adaptability are also crucial for success in this role.
Requirements:An applicant must hold a minimum of a Level 8 degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying. They must have extensive knowledge of contractual terms, conditions, and risk management.
Package:This is a full-time permanent role with a competitive salary range of €75K - €85K, negotiable dependent on experience, along with a company benefit package.
