Job Opportunity for Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Johnstown, Naas.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead our Civil Engineering team and provide civil & electrical design services to various clients within the Electrical & Renewable Engineering industry.

  • Client Facing Position
  • Train and mentor Graduate Design Engineers, overseeing their work, and checking their calculations.
  • Lead project design from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with brilliant engineers & project teams
  • Liaise with Clients and Local Authorities on the project.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent, with postgraduate design experience. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as experience in Eurocodes, finite element analysis software, and civil design software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Design Engineer who possesses the following skills:

  • BSc/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Postgraduate design experience
  • Experience in Eurocodes
  • Knowledgeable in finite element analysis software (Tekla, SCIA, etc)
  • Proficient in civil design software (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
