Childcare Service Lead

St. Andrews Resource Centre is seeking a dedicated Childcare Service Lead.

About The Role:
  • Deliver high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care to the community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management team to achieve key outcomes and objectives for the childcare service's development.
  • Work in alignment with the ethos, values, policies, and procedures of St. Andrews Resource Centre.

This role involves building capacity to deliver high-quality, inclusive early childhood care and education for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operation of St. Andrews Childcare Service in a dynamic manner.
  • Ensure that all good practice standards are met in the delivery of early years education and care programs.
  • Manage inspection processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative or best practice standards.
  • Maintain accurate records for all aspects of the service, in accordance with regulations.
  • Lead quality improvement strategies within the Early Years services.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Early Years staff.
  • Uphold quality standards and ensure staff professionalism aligns with relevant early years standards.
  • Keep staff up-to-date with mandatory training.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualification Level 8 in Early Education.
  • At least five years experience in the early years sector, with a minimum of two years management experience.
