National Campaigns Manager

The National Campaigns Manager plays a pivotal role in the society, overseeing all aspects of fundraising campaigns.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, incorporating market research, planning, budgeting, marketing, and performance analysis.
  • Promote innovative fundraising initiatives and diversify revenue streams to achieve organisational growth.
  • Mentor and supervise the campaigns team to ensure effective implementation of the overall fundraising plan and enhance individual skills and knowledge.
  • Document team processes and share with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance and continuity.
  • Collaborate with senior fundraising staff to develop a strategic fundraising plan for the society's campaigns and events.
Duties and Accountabilities:
  • Manage campaign financial targets and budgets in line with the overall fundraising strategy, monitoring performance and adjusting plans as necessary. Report regularly to senior fundraising staff.
  • Identify and assess potential new campaigns and develop fresh initiatives for existing ones, creating phased plans to discontinue underperforming activities.
  • Stay informed about market trends, opportunities, and competitor activity.
  • E nsure that all campaigns comply with relevant charity legislation and are properly managed and controlled.
  • Ensure confidentiality regarding supporter information at all times, adhering to data protection regulations.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree-level qualification.
  • Possess 3-5 years of proven experience in fundraising, marketing, and people management.
  • Have an understanding of the Republic of Ireland not-for-profit sector.
  • Demonstrate empathy with and compassion for volunteers and supporters, along with a passion for prioritising their needs.
