We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to join our team in Galway City.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care for children and adults in residential settings, promoting positive outcomes and making a real difference in their lives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge when the Service Manager is unavailable.
  • E nsuring the safety and well-being of individuals supported.
  • Monitoring progress and adhering to established procedures.
  • Fostering good relationships within the service.
  • Supporting individuals to develop self-esteem and appreciation for their uniqueness.
  • Collaborating effectively with individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviour, contributing to care plans as needed.
  • Attending to the daily needs of residents.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 7 professional degree in Applied Social Care.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or related fields.
  • Possession of a full current driving license.
