Environmental Health and Safety Officer RoleJob Description:

As a key team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of employees and contractors on site. Your primary responsibility will be to provide advice on health and safety issues and develop best practice procedures.

Key duties include providing training for employees on health and safety protocols, carrying out risk assessments, and performing regular safety patrols. You will also investigate accidents, ensure that emergency procedures are in place, and maintain high levels of pest control.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be required to maintain the ISO45001 Safety Management System and train employees on CPR technique and defibrillator use.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A diploma in safety, health, and welfare at work is a requirement for this role. Qualifications in other H&S courses such as first aid are an advantage.
