Job Description:

Our team is seeking an experienced Risk Analytics professional to join our ranks. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving business success through effective risk management.

  • Assist in monitoring the execution of our Enterprise Risk Management Framework, collaborating with business Risk Managers to embed robust risk and control governance structures.
  • Lead and/or support the delivery of regulatory-driven Risk Management projects, ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in regulatory interpretation and implementation, offering innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Offer a holistic approach to risk analytics – able to lead on initiatives across the risk universe, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Review business requirements from FRM and propose practical Excel/Access-based solutions, leveraging your analytical skills to drive results.
  • Work closely with FRM and Group Functions such as Business Intelligence and IT on identifying data requirements and potential solutions for FRM EUC applications, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Deliver updates in an agile manner, enabling incremental improvements to existing processes, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Develop and improve analytical and reporting tools in line with regulatory and business needs for Credit, Liquidity, and Market Risk, ensuring that our solutions are effective, efficient, and scalable.
  • Perform BAU and ad-hoc analysis, including developing new approaches where needed, to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree or qualification in a numerical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Ideal 6+ years' experience in Financial Risk with exposure to Basel III and EU CRR regulations.
  • Strong independent working capability with minimal supervision, able to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable plans, demonstrating strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Solution-oriented approach with proven ability to develop and implement practical, effective solutions to complex problems, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates must be highly numerate and have a logical, analytical, and thorough approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Execution-focused and keen to deliver and improve high-value tools for stakeholders, demonstrating a customer-centric mindset and a passion for excellence.
  • Significant experience developing EUC tools with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, including strong knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem resolution and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
