The Assistant Vice President (AVP) in Financial Crimes Risk Management will support the execution of a financial crime risk management strategy for Banking businesses.
This role is a critical component of the First Line of Defence and covers Corporate, Investment, and Commercial Banking businesses.
The AVP will be responsible for identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial crime risks, as well as supporting the implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Identification and assessment of financial crime risks;
- Mitigation of identified risks;
- Implementation of policies, procedures, and controls;
For this position, we are looking for a professional with excellent analytical skills, strong knowledge of financial markets, and experience in risk management.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience in risk management or a related field;
