
Senior Manufacturing Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to play a key role in a long-term project supporting advanced manufacturing systems. This position offers the chance to work on complex automation challenges in a highly regulated environment, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in DeltaV system design, configuration, and upgrades, as well as experience working in regulated/GMP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and upgrade DeltaV systems to meet project requirements.
- Translate project requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Review technical documents and provide input to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Work with engineering teams and vendors to deliver system improvements.
- Support testing and qualification activities, from FATs to onsite commissioning.
- Implement changes following structured lifecycle and compliance processes.
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure automation solutions meet safety and quality standards.
- Share knowledge and best practices on automation standards with project stakeholders.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with DeltaV applications, including batch processes.
- Strong knowledge of automation within regulated/GMP environments.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
- Problem-solving skills and analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience commissioning DeltaV systems in pharmaceutical or similar industries.
