
Content Protection Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging role that involves designing and developing innovative strategies to uncover content abuse risks? We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Analyst, Content Adversarial Red Team
This is a critical role within our Trust & Safety team where you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and policy teams to identify and address the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Risk Mitigation: Design, develop, and oversee the execution of highly complex red teaming strategies to uncover content abuse risks. Create and refine new methodologies, strategies, and tactics to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Collaboration and Influence: Influence across Product, Engineering, Research, and Policy to drive the implementation of strategic safety initiatives. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership on complex content safety issues.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and guide junior and senior analysts in sharing deep knowledge of adversarial and red teaming techniques and risk mitigation best practices.
- Industry Representation: Represent our AI safety efforts in external forums and conferences, contributing to industry best practices for responsible AI development.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in Trust and Safety, risk mitigation, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- 6 years of experience in adversarial testing, red teaming, jailbreaking for trust and safety, or a related field, with a focus on AI safety.
- A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information security, artificial intelligence).
- Experience in an individual contributor role within a technology company, focused on product safety or risk management.
- Understanding of AI systems/architecture including vulnerabilities, machine learning, and AI responsibility.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
