Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Technical Services Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of building and engineering services, as well as managing site scope, including staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational management of building and engineering services.
  • Site scope management, including staff supervision.
  • Ensure that engineering maintenance is carried out to appropriate standards and specifications.
  • Provide expert specialist and professional building and engineering expertise to other staff, directors, and senior management.
  • Undertake Authorized Person responsibilities in relation to specified systems.
  • Manage the day-to-day commercial aspects of site management and operation.
  • Develop, implement, and manage energy policies for the site.
  • Implement and manage the Permit to Work system and Safe Systems at work.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and statutory requirements.
  • Manage a team to ensure the safe operation of all plant and equipment on the site.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications and experience:

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in critical environments, preferably in Pharmaceuticals or FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Building services and plant engineering experience.
  • BIFM Level 5 / Engineering Degree.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with maintenance technical issues.
  • Awareness of Maximo, CMMS, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing a maintenance team and achieving SLAs.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Numerate and computer literate.
  • High-level interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels and disciplines.
  • Familiarity with H&S and general legislative matters.
