Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll payments in accordance with corporate compliance, legal, and company regulations
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports for external vendors (e.g., Pension Administrators)
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll systems, liaising with internal parties and external suppliers
  • Train colleagues on payroll systems and processes as needed
  • Collaborate closely with Shared Services Team, HR Teams, Finance, and relevant departments

Requirements:

  • Hold a Payroll Technician qualification or Level 8 Degree in a relevant field
  • 1-2 years experience working in high-volume payroll processing and fast-paced environments
  • Motivated individual with strong customer service and quality work ethic
  • Strong technical skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Previous experience and knowledge of CORE payroll system is advantageous
  • Detailed-oriented, completes transactions accurately, and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dependable, honest, and confidential
  • Problem solver and initiates process improvements with stakeholders
