
Senior Payroll Specialist

We are recruiting a highly skilled and experienced payroll professional to oversee our organisation's payroll function across Ireland and the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day payroll operations, managing weekly and monthly cycles with accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and manage a high-performing payroll team, providing training and support as needed
- Maintain compliance with Irish and UK payroll legislation, ensuring seamless delivery
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and external providers to drive smooth payroll processes
- Oversee payroll projects such as system upgrades, automation, and process enhancements
- Deliver accurate reporting and analysis of payroll data to inform senior management decisions
- Act as primary point of contact for payroll audits and compliance reviews
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in payroll, including exposure to complex Irish and UK payrolls
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing payroll teams
- Strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and statutory requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Effective communicator with strong influencing skills, able to work cross-functionally with stakeholders
