Maintenance and Engineering Leadership Opportunity
As a key member of our site team, the Maintenance and Engineering Manager reports directly to the Site Operation Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance and engineering management at the site.
The day-to-day activities involve close monitoring of operational issues and requirements, managing projects, and continuous improvement activities. The Maintenance and Engineering Manager oversees all repair and installation activities, ensures compliance with maintenance processes & procedures, maintenance schedules, and delivers on agreed KPIs of plant availability, effectiveness, and costs.
Responsibilities include ensuring site manufacturing equipment performance meets or exceeds required KPIs, providing strategies for technician training, executing planned preventative maintenance, and implementing continuous improvement projects focused on equipment performance.
This role drives the Maintenance and Reliability initiative, focusing on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge of equipment, including refrigeration, conveyers, and packaging.
- Previous experience in managing and leading maintenance teams, ideally in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills, good verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
We seek a skilled and experienced professional who can lead our maintenance team to high performance levels, demonstrate strong technical ability, and attention to detail to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.
