About the Role

As a Collection Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing a portfolio of end-customers, ensuring timely payments and reducing aged debt. This dynamic position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to drive results.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored collection strategies to meet clients' requirements.
  • Negotiate payment plans with complex customers, leveraging your expertise to secure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions using our software platform.
  • Monitor accounts and provide regular reporting on collection activity, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process optimization and suggest strategic solutions to enhance collections efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to escalate complex account situations, driving business outcomes through effective communication and solution-driven approaches.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, delivering results against targets while meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a professional telephone manner and adaptability in diverse client interactions.
  • Showcase proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and teamwork, embracing a flexible and collaborative work environment.
  • Exhibit resilience and persistence, remaining focused on goals despite challenges or setbacks.
  • Open to experience levels, ideally with 1 year's experience in accounts receivable, cash collections, finance, or banking industries.
  • Fluent French-speaking, with a second European language an asset, preferably English.
