Job Title: Payroll Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team for a short-term period. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of the weekly payroll for a large workforce, as well as preparing and sending client invoices in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process the weekly payroll for a high-volume workforce with accuracy
  • Evaluate and ensure the accuracy of timesheets, rates, hours worked, and deductions
  • Liaise with consultants and clients to resolve any payroll discrepancies
  • Generate and send invoices to clients based on weekly timesheets
  • Maintain payroll records in line with compliance standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll processing dealing with large payrolls
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirements
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively under tight deadlines
