  • Job Purpose: Provide professional and efficient airfreight export operations services to internal and external customers.
  • Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Processing shipment bookings and monitoring shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at destination and customer payment.
  2. Providing high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  3. Liaising with airlines to ensure best possible rate and transit time are secured.
  4. Liaising with warehouse and transport personnel regarding collections and the warehouse processing of airfreight shipments.
  5. Labeling freight for export.
  6. Processing sales and purchase invoices and dealing with queries relating to customer/creditor invoices.
  7. Dealing with rate requests and issuing quotations.
  8. Development of airfreight service.
  9. Liaising with overseas network of agents.

Additional Duties:

  • Assisting with holiday cover within the operations office.
  • Providing administration and other support to other members of the airfreight department when required.
  • Occasional customer visits.
