The Role & The Team

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will join our Search and Browse - Experience department, working on business-critical functionalities related to our Search and Category pages. You will focus on our high-profile Inspiration and Entertainment programme, engaging 50 million customers across 25 countries in their online shopping journey.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, ensuring smooth delivery and continuous improvements to our systems. You will help establish effective working methods and efficient code contribution practices between Asian and European teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up new engineering teams, potentially including recruitment involvement.
  • Supporting and contributing to a diverse team of engineers.
  • Ensuring the smooth delivery and continuous improvement of critical systems.
  • Helping establish effective working methods and efficient code contribution practices between teams.
  • Supporting and driving architectural and design decisions in the team.

We're Looking For Someone With:

  • Experience with JavaScript (React, Typescript).
  • Experience with React Native libraries like Redux, React Navigation, and Axios.
  • Experience building cross-platform mobile apps integrating React Native with native modules when necessary.
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
  • Strong experience with Monitoring and Observability.
