The Role:
This includes operating equipment and tools commonly used in construction and general facilities maintenance, such as cutting and abrasive tools, access equipment, loading equipment, etc.
Loading and unloading deliveries of materials or equipment, collecting materials from suppliers, and delivering them to various sites as requested, while ensuring safe and timely delivery of supporting documentation to the Maintenance Office.
Carrying out maintenance and repairs tasks, including cutting, drilling, and chasing of walls and floors, cutting trenches, mixing concrete, plaster, cleaning boilers, flues, water storage tanks, gutters, gulleys, and sewers, power washing, etc.
Attending Craftspeople during their duties, such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and external Contractors as required.
Liaising with outside Contractors, as needed, and traveling in company-provided transport as directed by the Maintenance Officer or delegated person.
Being accountable for all tools, stock, or equipment under their control and ensuring that all such equipment is kept in proper working order according to safety standards.
