Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.

  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system reliability and implement preventative maintenance programs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, adhering to health and safety procedures when carrying out maintenance work.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly activities, including timesheets, breakdown reports, and reasons for downtime.

  • Manage inventory levels, requisition spare parts, and maintain a well-organized tool room.

  • Carry out any other duties as required, including project work and ancillary tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Full mechanical qualification.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and changing priorities.

  • Organized with excellent attention to detail and following through on all assignments to completion.
