Technical Specialist - Food Quality

This exciting opportunity involves working as part of a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety in our production processes.

The role will involve:

  • Providing technical support to colleagues across various departments to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, including HACCP procedures and risk assessments;
  • Maintaining accurate records of product testing and audits, ensuring all relevant documentation is up-to-date and compliant;
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as required;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure alignment with company goals;
  • Maintaining awareness of industry developments, trends, and best practices to inform quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field;
  • Proven experience in quality management, ideally within the food industry;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new software applications as needed;
  • HACCP training is an advantage.
