Job Description

The Financial Center is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Financial Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of the platform staff, this role is responsible for proactively identifying and meeting the financial needs of customers or prospects through the consultative sales process.

This position involves acquiring new households and deepening existing customer relationships through various activities such as lobby leadership, aisle time, and tele-consulting. The representative will also be responsible for processing teller transactions and working as part of the platform staff.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Financial Services Representative will focus on risk management by following policies, procedures, and elevating concerns. This includes identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks to ensure a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Built Relationships: Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Cross-Selling: Focus on cross-selling to existing customers and outside sales activities such as community events and business calls.
  • Customer Service: Promote customer satisfaction with professionalism and helpfulness, and own customer issues and answer questions confidently.
  • Risk Management: Follow policies for opening and servicing Retail products, participate in loan and bankcard processes from application to closing, and stay updated on procedures to prevent fraud and manage risks.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skillset: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
