Job Title: Overhead Line Equipment Inspector

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Overhead Line Equipment Inspector. This role involves performing visual inspections of all associated apparatus, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

Role Profile:

  • Walk and survey overhead lines, record information and perform visual inspections of all associated apparatus.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and documented in accordance with required standards.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform patrol and inspections per standards and guidelines.
  • Perform mapping, record keeping and data entry duties per standards including completion of required documentation.
  • Patrol and identify defects on ESB overhead lines network and record in detail as per standards.
  • Make initial contact with customers for access.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good customer service skills with colleagues and other people you may meet.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Able to work outdoors in all conditions and have knowledge of map reading.
  • Flexible to meet business requirements.
  • A current full and valid driving licence.

Requirements:

  • Previous surveying experience on overhead line networks from LV /MV/HV.
  • Understanding of Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental (HSQE) Regulations.
  • Previous patrolling experience on ESB networks or similar.
